Hello.

Every time after startup and log in, I get a Program Compatibility Assistant op-up saying: A driver cannot load on this device
Driver: HpPortIox64.sys

HpPortIox64.sys

A security setting is detecting this as a vulnerable driver and blocking it from loading. You'll need to adjust your settings to load this driver.

Could this also be connected to my laptopt randomly stuttering, both audio and display? Even while doing light tasks like using a web browser with few pages open?

Thank you in advance!

Hi:

The only suggestion I can offer would be to turn off the Microsoft Vulnerable Driver Blocklist in Windows Security.

You can see how to do that at the link below:

Enable or Disable Microsoft Vulnerable Driver Blocklist in Windows 11 | Windows 11 Forum

After you do that, you can see if that resolves the other issues you are having.

Alright. Thank you very much. Do you know anything about the other problem, of the laptop randomly stuttering, even when not doing anything resource-intensive?

You're very welcome.

Unfortunately, I don't have any guaranteed suggestions for you but I do have a couple of suggestions you can try if you have not done so already:

1. Update the AMD chipset driver to the latest version directly from the AMD website:

AMD Ryzen™ and Athlon™ Mobile (Chipset) Drivers

2. Update the Nvidia graphics driver to the latest version directly from the Nvidia website.

Use the Game Ready driver

Driver Results | GeForce GTX 1650 | Windows 10 64-bit | NVIDIA

3. Update the Realtek audio driver:

6.0.9198.1
