@D-j_123, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding Error Code 0xc000000e on HP PCs!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

The error code 0xc000000e usually indicates that a required device isn't accessible or connected, often leading to a recovery message when booting up your PC. This might require using recovery tools to fix the issue. Here’s a guide to help address this problem using HP resources:

Steps to Resolve the Error:

Access Recovery Tools:

  • You will need a recovery USB flash drive or Windows installation media for troubleshooting.
  • Insert the recovery USB drive or installation DVD into your computer.

Boot from the Recovery Media:

  • Restart your computer.
  • Boot from the USB drive or DVD by pressing the appropriate key (usually F9, F10, or F12) to bring up the boot menu and select the boot device.

Repair Your Computer:

  • Once booted, select “Repair your computer” instead of “Install now” on the Windows setup screen.
  • Navigate to Troubleshoot > Advanced Options.

Use Startup Repair:

  • Select "Startup Repair" from the Advanced options menu. This will attempt to fix boot-related issues automatically.

Check Device Connections:

  • Ensure that all internal devices such as hard drives and SSDs are properly connected.
  • For laptops, you may need to have a technician check the internal connections.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
