Hello everyone.

I need an advice regarding the following:

On my PC I have AMD Radeon R7 Graphics. Is it possible to update it or does the operational system limits this option?

Also I have Crimson ReLive 17.7 driver. I would also like to update it to the better version (Say 19.11.1). Is it possible?

Thanks in advance.

Hi:

You should be able to.

I have a Dell Optiplex 7050 MT with the R7-450, and I am using the latest driver directly from the AMD website and it works fine.

The latest driver on the  Dell support page is over 2 years old.

Thank you for reply.

How do I know if my system supports the latest Crimson ReLive issue?

And what is difference between AMD Radeon 7Graphics and AMD Radeon 7 Graphics 300?

You're very welcome.

I would not be able to answer any of your questions.

All I have told you is from my personal experience with the Dell card in my PC and that it works fine.

Here is what I recommend....

Create a system restore point before installing the latest driver from AMD.

Here is how to do that....

https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4027538/windows-create-a-system-restore-point

Then you can use the system restore utility to go back to the current state in case for some reason, the new driver does not work as expected.

Download the graphics driver for the R7 graphics card your PC has from the link below...You have the option of selecting the driver for the 400, 300 or 200 series.
