Accidentally deleted recovery partition.

Accidentally deleted recovery partition while trying to create a recovery drive. HP support assistant came up with an error message and told me that deleting the recovery partition was helpful for maintenance.

Is the recovery partition important? And if so is there any way to get it back?

Recovery Partition typically labeled 😧 is helpful in being able to restore to factory condition.  It can be found on HP PC's that then allow the user to create Recovery Media disk/flash drive to store to "Factory Fresh".  It is only benifical for recovery to the factory state.  sometimes that is helpful to get out of a problem.  However, if the PC was upgraded to Windows 10 instead of coming with Windows 10, then the Recovery Paerition is of no value any longer, as it will return the PC to factory fresh (old Windows that it came with) instead of the new Windows 10.  We have found that typically if the PC was upgrade to Windows 10 and came with Windows 7 or 8 that the Recovery Manager does not respond to the F11 request anyways.

If you are running Windows 10 and need to reinstall, then go to the MS site and make a new install media

with a working PC, Scroll down to the "Using the tool to create installation media" and follow the directions.  Then you can use this newly created media to reinstall Windows 10
