I have an older model Hp Pavillion laptop. I purchased it brand new but, open box from a reputable dealer at Ebay. I have been having some ongoing issues. I was wondering if there is something going on with the embedded windows key. The reason I have come to this conclusion is that I tried to register it at hp.com however, it says the device is already registered on another account. I have the device registered at the support site however, it does not show at the hp.com site.
My registration email and password are the same for both sites. I suspect that my device is registered somewhere else under a different account that is not mine. Is there anyway to get this issue resolved?
