Product: OMEN 30L Desktop GT13-1350st CTO
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

While trying to reset my computer to factory, windows asks for additional software that came with the computer on disc or thumb drive. I never received any software with my computer. How do I go about getting it? My software has to be downloaded from hp but not on the support pages.

Your PC should support HP Cloud Recovery.

The hp cloud is what is asking for additional software? I think it maybe for model specific drivers. not sure but without the additional software it will not finish the install. Thanks for the reply Bill.

My pleasure.

 

I don't know what software or driver you would need. You have a CTO PC. I can't find any specific HP info for this product.

 

I don't know if you have an Intel or AMD system. Most components except for the MB and higher powered CPUs would be standard stuff. I can't think of any special operating system driver needed to run a Intel "K" CPU or a Ryzen "X" CPU. The MB's BIOS takes care of this.

 

I would contact HP Support unless a different forum member knows what is happening.
