Admin requirements

HP Recommended
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Occasionally when I try to run a program I am told I need Admin permission. I never set up any admin protocol and can't find where to disable this

@Robbyboy1

You can't -- as after WIn7, Microsoft changed account creation rules so that the accounts folks create are no longer the Administrator accounts, but general user accounts with some admin rights.

However, you should not have to provide elevated rights just to run an application.  In those cases, you need to contact the application vendor support sites to find out what needs to be done to correct that.

Good Luck
