Administrator Sign-in

Have recently reset to factory settings.  Have reset up my profile that I had before.  Problem is that I cannot download any programs without administrator sign-in.  I've never had this problem before.  How do I bypass this.

You said you "reset" your ID -- I have no idea what that means.

User profiles in Windows have unique system-generated IDs. So when you created a profile after the reset, even if you used the same user name, it would actually be a DIFFERENT profile than it was the first time.

So even if I had a profile name of John Doe and created that on two different PCs, when I went to copy the user profile files from one PC to another, the second PC would not let me do that because, to Windows, those are two completely different user accounts.
