@rpeoh12, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

Check the Icons Folder

Make sure the icons aren’t corrupted:

Go to the folder where icons are stored.

Delete any broken or corrupted icons, then try recreating them.

Clear Icon Cache

Clear the icon cache:

SSH or use Terminal to navigate to the icon cache folder (like /home/guest/.icons).

Delete the cached files and restart.

Create a New User Profile

Create a new user in the Settings menu.

Log in with the new user and check if the icons work.

Check for Updates

Go to Settings > System > Check for Updates.

Install any available updates and restart.

I hope this helps.

Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.

Take care and have a good day.
