I barely get any updates for this desktop. At the same time, Norton (trying to sell me the Utilities) indicates that it needs to update numerous drivers. I saw updates for other versions but none for 23H2 in your website. I even updated HP Support and still get no updates. Any guidance will be appreciated. Thanks.

Hi @Anse47,
Welcome to The HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand you are encountering issues with receiving updates for your HP All-In-One Desktop PC.
Here are a few steps you can follow to ensure your system is up-to-date:
1. Check Windows Update Settings
Ensure that your Windows Update settings are correctly configured:
- Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update.
- Click Check for updates to see if there are any pending updates.
- Ensure that updates are being downloaded and installed automatically.
2. Use HP Support Assistant
Ensure that HP Support Assistant is properly configured:
- Open HP Support Assistant from your desktop or the start menu.
- Go to the Updates tab.
- Click Check for updates and messages to see if there are any pending updates for your device.
- Install any available updates.
3. Download Drivers Manually from HP Website
Sometimes, downloading drivers manually from the HP website can help:
- Go to the HP Support page.
- Enter your product name (HP All-In-One Desktop PC 24-Cb0000a) or model number (3B5H7AV).
- Select the Software and Drivers section.
- Choose your operating system (Windows 11 64-bit).
- Download and install any available drivers or BIOS updates.
4. Check Device Manager
Sometimes, updating drivers via Device Manager can be effective:
- Right-click the Start button and select Device Manager.
- Expand the categories and locate the device you wish to update.
- Right-click the device and select Update driver.
- Choose Search automatically for updated driver software.
5. Consider Third-Party Driver Update Tools
While Norton is suggesting updates, it's good to be cautious with third-party utilities. However, there are reputable third-party tools like Driver Booster or Snappy Driver Installer that can help identify and install driver updates. Make sure to create a restore point before using any third-party tools.
6. Check Windows Version Compatibility
Make sure that your version of Windows 11 (23H2) is fully supported:
- Go to Settings > System > About.
- Verify the version number.
- Check the Windows 11 release information to ensure it is supported.
7. Update BIOS
Ensure your BIOS is up-to-date:
- Visit the HP support website and download the latest BIOS update for your model.
- Follow the instructions carefully to update the BIOS.
