Hi @All-in-onec

Welcome to the HP support community.

If you're encountering a "BIOS corruption has been detected; BIOS recovery files can't be found" error on your all-in-one desktop, it indicates that the BIOS may be corrupted and requires recovery. Here are the steps you can take to address this issue:

1. Reset BIOS Settings

  • Access BIOS:
    1. Restart your computer.
    2. As it starts, repeatedly press the appropriate key to enter BIOS setup (usually F2, Del, or Esc).
  • Reset to Default:
    • Once in the BIOS menu, look for an option to Load Defaults or Reset to Default Settings. Save and exit.

2. Use HP BIOS Recovery (if applicable)

  • If your desktop is from HP, it might support BIOS recovery from the HP BIOS Recovery tool:
    1. Power off the computer.
    2. Press and hold the Windows key + B on the keyboard.
    3. While holding those keys, press the Power button to turn on the computer.
    4. Continue to hold the Windows + B keys until the HP BIOS Update screen appears.
    5. Follow the on-screen instructions.

3. Check for USB BIOS Recovery

  • Prepare a USB Drive:
    1. Use another computer to download the latest BIOS version for your desktop model from the manufacturer’s website.
    2. Format a USB drive to FAT32.
    3. Copy the BIOS recovery file to the root directory of the USB drive.
  • Boot from USB:
    1. Insert the USB drive into your desktop.
    2. Restart your computer and enter BIOS again.
    3. Change the boot order to prioritize the USB drive.
    4. If the BIOS recovery file is detected, follow the prompts to recover the BIOS.

I hope this helps! Keep me posted.
