The light where my power cord plugs in is constantly blinking when my desktop is on and running.. the blinking stops and then turns into a steady light when the computer is shut down and / or in sleep mode (as it should).. i contacted HP thru chat and they couldn't seem to figure out the issue. they sent me a new power adapter and it is still doing the same thing. computer seems to be working perfectly fine and isn't giving me any issues at all. is this normal? Thanks!

Greetings @achamb
Welcome to the HP Forum.
A dead PC at startup and a blinking PSU LED would generally suggests a power supply problem or a power continuity problem in the circuit or a component.
Your PC was previously good to go having a blinking PSU LED. And system behavior has not changed since HP sent you a new external power brick.
No worries at this time. But keep an eye on things.
