HP Pavilion All-in-One Desktop PC 24-ca2000i (6L7A7AV)

I have an all in one I had my monitor set to recognize my face and I had a PIN number well for some reason my daughter changed the pin and of course she don't remember what it is. I thought ok it will still open with my face and of course now it doesn't recognize me. I also believe my 14 year old messed with it but now I can't log into my computer I called last night and the tech was not helpful and after several long pauses I even had to ask twice if he was still there he informs me I have to get another computer to get some code and to call back when I had that.. did I mention I have a laptop and my gf and son also have computers? By this time I had already been on the phone with him for almost 2 hours I was done so I'm asking does anyone know how I can log into my computer with no pin and no recognize feature? And no it doesn't give me the forgot your pin? Link

@Softwhyspers, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your HP Pavilion All-in-One Desktop

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

I hear you—it’s really frustrating when you get locked out of your own computer, especially when the usual recovery options don’t seem to be available. I appreciate your patience with the previous support call, and I’d be happy to guide you through some possible solutions.

Check for a "Forgot PIN?" Option Again

If you’re using a Microsoft account to sign in, the option to reset the PIN should appear after a few incorrect attempts. If you don’t see it, try restarting the PC and then attempt signing in again.

Try Logging in With Your Microsoft Password

If your PC is linked to a Microsoft account, you can use your Microsoft account password instead of the PIN.

You can reset your Microsoft account password at Microsoft's Password Reset page.

Use Safe Mode to Access Your Account

Restart your PC and hold the Shift key while clicking "Restart."

This should take you to the "Advanced Startup" menu.

Go to Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Startup Settings > Restart.

Once it restarts, choose Safe Mode with Networking and try logging in there.

Could you send me your case ID from your previous support call? That way, I can check what was already discussed and avoid making you repeat steps unnecessarily.

Looking forward to helping you get back in!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
