Hi @Lindsey269,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

If your HP Pavilion All-In-One PC is not turning on and is showing a message to check the HDMI cable, there are a few troubleshooting steps you can follow:

Check Power Supply:

  • Ensure that the power cable is properly connected to the PC and the power outlet.
  • Verify that the power outlet is working by connecting another device to it.

Check Power Button:

  • Make sure the power button is not stuck and is functioning properly.

Perform a Power Reset:

  • Disconnect the power cable from the back of the PC.
  • Press and hold the power button for about 15 seconds to drain any residual power.
  • Reconnect the power cable and try turning on the PC again.

Detach External Devices:

  • Unplug any external devices connected to the PC (except the keyboard and mouse) and attempt to power it on.

Check for Status Lights:

  • Look for any LED lights when you attempt to turn the PC on. This can give clues about the power status.

    I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
