@GApeksha, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding Ctrl+Alt+Del and TPM Issues on Your Desktop!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
If the Ctrl+Alt+Del key sequence is not responding, you can use an alternative method to send the sequence, usually within the software you're using. For HP Remote Graphics Software (RGS), follow these steps:
- In the RGS Receiver window, click the Settings panel.
- Locate the Hotkeys settings.
- Check the box that says "Send Ctrl+Alt+End key sequence as Ctrl+Alt+Del”.
By enabling this option, you can use Ctrl+Alt+End to perform the same function as Ctrl+Alt+Del.
Correcting TPM Errors
A repeated TPM (Trusted Platform Module) error typically indicates an issue with the security features of your processor or motherboard. Here are steps to troubleshoot this issue:
Check BIOS/UEFI Settings:
- Restart your computer and enter the BIOS/UEFI setup (usually by pressing F10, Esc, or another designated key during startup).
- Find the TPM setting within your UEFI/BIOS configuration.
- Ensure TPM (sometimes labelled as PTT for Intel systems) is enabled.
Update BIOS/UEFI:
- Visit the support page for your HP device model.
- Download and install the latest BIOS update for your system.
Operating System Level Fix:
- Ensure your Windows operating system is up-to-date with the latest patches.
- Open Device Manager, locate 'Security devices', and check for any errors with 'Trusted Platform Module' device.
Re-installation Check:
- During a fresh installation of Windows, make sure that Secure Boot and TPM are enabled in BIOS.
- If TPM errors persist post-reinstallation, double-check that the latest BIOS firmware is installed.
Hope this helps!
Take care, and have an amazing day!
