Victus by HP 15.6 inch Gaming Laptop 15-fb0000 (598U8AV)

The error code 0xA00F4244 <NoCamerasAreAttached> typically occurs when a Windows device (like a laptop or PC) cannot detect an attached or built-in camera. This issue is common in Windows 10 and 11 and may be caused by hardware, driver, or software-related problems.

However, I can’t find the camera driver, either on the support page or in the Device Manager. I was able to use the camera myself just last week. Where can I find the driver manually? I have already updated Windows 11, including optional updates.

On of the updates broke the camera driver.  See if you can roll back the driver

Did you try rolling back the camera driver?

It could be the camera driver or the USB driver if the camera is connected to the USB. Many internal cameras are connected to the USB.

In the pictures below you would select the camera driver and then look for 'rollback'

If camera driver is the problem

If the problem is the wrong USB driver for the camera

If you cannot rollback the driver then try to find the best one or let windows try. One way is to just uninstall the camera and reboot as described in this official HP document..

The below post, unfortunately, is complicated but is useful if there is no camera drivers at the HP website to download.

Let me know what you find out.
