@Abwani07, Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
To assist you better, here's a breakdown of how to obtain authentication and authorization codes for your HP devices and UPS:
Authentication Code for HP Desktop PC (With or Without OS)
If you're referring to the Windows Product Key (for PCs with OS):
- Most HP desktops with pre-installed Windows have the product key embedded in the BIOS. You do not need to manually enter it during reinstallation.
If your PC does not have an OS, there is no Windows authentication code. You will need to purchase a genuine Windows license from Microsoft or an authorized reseller.
Authorization Code for 1kVA UPS
HP does not manufacture UPS systems directly. For authorization or warranty support:
- Check the label on the UPS for the OEM brand and model.
- Contact the respective manufacturer for authorization documentation.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
