Pavilion All-in-one

My system just prompted me to confirm a BIOS update. I acceped and it seemed to work ok but I'm not sure if it is legit. Does anyone know ? The Support site says that the latest version for my machine (27-a050a) is F.46 RevA but my system now reports version F.47. Is this malwear or did HP forget to mention the later release ?

Thanks for your help!

Greetings,

Welcome to the forum.

I am not a HP employee.

The BIOS update should be genuine if you got it using HP Support Assistant.

My guess would be HP has not revised the download site for your PC to reflect the latest BIOS update version F.47.

Regards
