Hey guys I attached a picture of my system information. Lately I hate sometimes noticed crashes on older games with nvlddmkm.driver issue, nothing seems to be overheating according to the omen gaming hub and task manager and such so I am thinking maybe my BIOS version is bad? The one on the HP website for my model is a lower version but I'm not sure if I installed this one manually or if I did it through the HP support assistant. I am not sure how to check to see what specific version I need.
Is it ok to install a lower version ? Do any of you guys got any experience with this.

also I know there is a roll back bios on system event utility by HP but as I am not sure if that is even the issue I don't want to mess with it yet. Crashes on older games are going to happen sometimes so this is just a question of curiosity.

hi
Lately I hate sometimes noticed crashes on older games with nvlddmkm.driver issue
before trying to touch the bios, which can be dangerous, and might have nothing to do with it..
given an nvidia driver problem, I would advise you to check, since you mentioned "old games"
How compatible should they be
have you tried older Nvidia drivers, looked for game fixes etc!

That sounds like good advice and i am thinking as much. my bios seems to work as it should and I emailed amd and chatted with them just to double check all temps and everything and they said my stats were fine, nvidia said my stats were fine...so I am thinking it is simply some sort of incompatibility issue with the game.
I have found even games 5 years old can have weird issues with Windows 11.
