HP ProDesk 600 G1 SFF
Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit)

Hi,

I have an HP ProDesk 600 G1 SFF that is affected with a virus, so to recover and format the unit, it asks for the BIOS password which I don't know unfortunatelly.

Is there anyway to recover the password ?

Thanks for your help.

Move jummper to other set.

Power-on for 5 seconds then power-off.

I do not understand why you want to enter BIOS SETUP.

When you turn your computer on, and immediately press ESC, do you see an option to temporarily change the "boot order" ?   If so, change the boot order, to boot from the Windows Installer DVD, to start the reinstallation of Windows.

Or, if you do not have that DVD, see:

       https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10

to download Windows 10 onto a USB memory-stick. Then, temporarily change the "boot order" to boot from that device.
