Product: OMEN 25L Desktop - GT12-0240m CTO

Hello So i was looking to upgrading this omen desktop by putting in a RTX 5060 ti 16gb with a ryzen 7 5800xt but cant find the bios update required for the cpu and gpu to work fully. I cannot find it in the download section under firmware. i looked it up and since this desktop is CTO is custom so they usually dont have new BIOS settings, any otherway to update the BIOS to the latest?

Hi:

 

Your PC is not going to support an upgrade to an AMD Ryzen 7 5800xt processor, with or without a BIOS update.

 

Below is the link to the parts list for your PC which has the list of supported processors:

 

HP PartSurfer

 

If you still want to update the BIOS please post the motherboard SSID your PC comes with because the parts list does not list what motherboard it has.

 

To find the motherboard SSID do the following:

 

In the search feature on the Windows taskbar:

 

Type: System Information

 

Run the app and look for the Baseboard Product line about 1/3 of the way down on the report.

 

The baseboard product info is the same as the motherboard SSID
