Hello, we had one problem with BIOS update.

We tried to update BIOS through HP Support Assistant, and to complete update we needed to reboot PC, after that the PC could not boot anymore. The fan is working but blank screen and the keyboard do not respond, just 8 long beeps and after that we got 2 long and 2 short beeps (to 20 beeps total).

We tried everything from service and maintaince guide and from HP forums and guides but we didnt found the correct answer.

We tried to BIOS Recovery with all versions of BIOS but we see that Recovery USB is blinking and when stop blinking we got beeps, tried with jumper on motherboard to be on BBR, tried with keyboard W+B or W+V but keyboard wont respond.

Hi @Dimitrije2407

The eight beep code followed by the 2:2 beep codes indicate the BIOS is corrupted.

You have tried all troubleshooting steps possible.

You have no video and have lost USB function.

I would contact HP Support if the PC is in warranty.

Or you may have to use a Serial BIOS programmer to flash the BIOS back to version F.48. I think BIOS version F.49 may have caused this problem
