Hello HP community,
I have an older pc which I want to run windows 7 on (currently running windows 10). However when I try to boot my windows 7 ISO file from a USB I get the following blue screen error: "The BIOS in this system is not fully ACPI compliant. Please contact your system vendor for an updated BIOS."
Can someone help me find if it is possible to run windows 7 on this PC? And if so, how to do it?
Some information about the pc:
HP Desktop PC - 870-243nd
motherboard Odense2-K
Kind regards,
Bram

Sorry, but this type of computer is not intended for another system
You therefore have no drivers available, but even less bios for an unsupported system
You may encounter other problems, but unless I'm mistaken there are workarounds on the net.

I do not think so
either the answers are in French, and not always the right solution
Either in English, and I don't understand everything, I can't know if this is the right solution
A simple search with the error message, gives me a very large number of results, and there I do not have time to read everything, try to understand, sort the answers.
And it is likely that even after that, your computer is not working properly!
