I was using my lap this day and i finished working and then i turned it off. and again i opened it and this HP BIOS update screen showed up and i gave it nearly 11 mins to initialize but from where it seems to me. its stuck or something so, what does this mean?

Welcome to the HP Forum.

 

It sounds like a corrupted BIOS update. Maybe you shut down the PC during a BIOS update?

 

Try recovery steps at this Site.

 

You could also provide a specific HP product number.

 

The product number can be used to find a BIOS update for your MB which can be used to create a USB BIOS recovery drive.

 

Boot to this HP USB BIOS recovery drive to possibly fix the corrupted BIOS image.
