During operation, the computer unexpectedly rebooted. The BIOS update procedure was started, but it did not complete. Attempts to restore the BIOS using the firmware do not lead to the desired result. The computer does not find suitable BIOS firmware on the USB drive and continues to signal the need for recovery.

For BIOS firmware, a standard utility was used, determined by the serial number for the computer model,

namely HP All-in-One 27-dp0000ba (7TT91AV) 

HP Consumer Desktop PC BIOS Update (ROM Family SSID 86F1) F. 02 Rev. A Mar 22, 2020 - sp102077.exe

precisely in compliance with the requirements of the intsruction.

 

Can this mean a hardware failure of the BIOS and the need to contact a service center?
