HP ENVY Desktop PC TE01-1000i (1K4E8AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

I have an HP ENVY. TE01.  Upgrading the bios the other day and the computer became a brick.  I can turn it on and hear the fan, but that is it.  I have followed all online directions and have been unable to get anything other than a black Screen.  HP support online says they have no software for my model computer.  I believe the computer is maybe 2.5 years old though not certain.  I needed a quick fix so already purchased a new Canon.  Now the question is what to do with the HP.

Is the cost of sending to HP and having them repair the bios even worth it?  I have all of my data backed up.  I am not real keen on purchasing another HP after this mishap and lack of online support., but I can see fixing it if it does not cost more than 50% of the cost of a new computer, and the Canon for a hybrid hardrive with 1 Terabyte and 256 Gigs, as well as a faster chip, cost about $750.00 at Costco.    But if I can get the computer running again, I can use it as a backup.  Anybody know the cost of a repair, or any possibiltiy of fixing it not mentioned by HP online?  Thanks.

Any opinions on what I can do to get the HP Envy running, or the cost of repairing if I go that route?

I received the same message that no drivers or software were available for your PC's product number.

Enter your PC's serial number in the search box at the link below so I can see what motherboard it came with:

HP PartSurfer

Post the link to the results.

There should be a BIOS file available from which you can make a BIOS USB recovery drive using another PC.
