My aging  Envy 27‑p075na is refusing  to start up (3F0 error). It does, however pass the HP SSD tests. The BIOS doesn't list any bootable drives, including a USB drive I've tried in every port.

I'm intending to re-flash the BIOS, but the HP site doesn't have any support information for this machine at all. Can anyone confirm the latest SPxxx.exe BIOS download for this machine?

According to the information I could find online your PC comes with a HP 'Bulldozer-4GL' motherboard with a BIOS SSID of 2B3E.

HP has removed all driver support for your PC, but I was able to find a BIOS update for that SSID but it is not the latest one (A0.12).

You can download the file from this discussion at the link below:  It seems like the person that posted the links left out the one for A0.13).

There are two potential problems for you:

1. You can only run the update in Windows.  I ran the file on my Dell desktop.

It unpacked and did not open a create a BIOS recovery drive window.

2. The other issue is if you already have A0.13 installed, none of the previous BIOS updates will work.
