The release date on the BIOS update page is March 11, 2024. After updating the bios, date in System Information is 12/7/2023

Check the bios version and date in the bios as the system information on windows may not have updated yet.

BIOS release date under BIOS Setup (F10) is incorrect as well.

Any of the dates you see on the support page are just the dates the Softpaqs were uploaded to the HP support pages and those dates will always be more recent than the dates of the actual driver/BIOS update files.

You will not find one driver file that matches the date on the support page after you install it.

If the BIOS version you installed (02.27.00) matches what it indicates on the support page, the actual date of the BIOS is not important.

That was the actual date the BIOS update was released.

For example, if you go to the driver folder that was created when you ran the BIOS update and look at the BIOS update setup information file, it provides the following information:

[Version]
Signature = "$WINDOWS NT$"
Provider = %Provider%
Class = Firmware
ClassGuid = {f2e7dd72-6468-4e36-b6f1-6488f42c1b52}
DriverVer = 12/07/2023,02.27.00.0
CatalogFile = Q01_022700.cat
PnpLockdown = 1

12/07/2023 is what you should be seeing on your PC and since you are, there is absolutely no problem whatsoever.
