Hey.

I have a HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop 690-0803no with ryzen 5 2600 processor and I would like to upgrade it to a ryzen 5000-series processor. Is there a bios version availebile for the motherboard to accept the new 5000-series processor?

Hi:

 

Unfortunately, a BIOS update would not allow your PC to support an AMD Ryzen 5xxx series processor.

 

Your PC has a HP 'Sunflower' motherboard which supports up to the AMD Ryzen7-2700 processor.
