Having owned the laptop for 2 weeks i have had in the region of 8 BSOD, with 5 tracked in the minidump area. Ive ran all diag tools, but still just randomly happens with the last 3 stating:
SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION
MEMORY_MANAGEMENT
PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA
Upon booting back up the Camera disables but it is Win11, fully updated and nothing that i can see now what to run/look for prior to approaching HP for warranty work on it, but shouldn't expect this from a brand new item

Check to see if there is a hardware problem but update the UEFI diagnostics first.
HP releases newer UEFI diagnostics periodically. When you select F2 during boot you are requesting UEFI diagnostics. There is an updated diagnostics package Click Here Look for the phrase 'issues outside the OS', Expand the '+' symbol and click the DOWNLOAD button. The version of the UEFI diagnostics is shown at the left of that DOWNLOAD button. When you press F2 to run diagnostics please ensure the version is the new one. |
Tap the ESC key after powering on. Tap it once a second after you see the LEDs on the keyboard flash. When you see the startup menu, press F2 to run diagnostics.
If a component fails during the UEFI test then Click here to check warranty
If there is no failure you are unlikely to get any warranty service and I would return it to the store for a refund.
