Rec'd the Blue Screen of Death the other day with message:

 

System_Service_Exception (PSINPROT.sys)

 

I see where the file is, but don't know what it does and how to fix. Can't find anything on the web, so whatever info and help I can get is a ppreciated.

I did remove it, but will reinstall and see if it happens again. At least I'll know what is causing it.

The file PSINPROT.sys is related to Panda Security/AntiVirus program.

If you are running Panda AntiVirus it may be the cause of your BSOD.

So, by removing Panda Free, that will resolve the issue?

Sometimes a BSOD is a one time occurrence caused by unusual circumstances. If it happens again I would suggest uninstalling Panda and finding another anti-virus program.
