I'm getting an error of Bad system Config Info and the computer isn't able to repair. Tried to search forum and no luck. Please help.

Hi,

 

Please refer to this Microsoft document (Link) for an explanation

 

You can't repair per your post.

 

Create Windows installation media using this site (Link). Boot to the media. Select Repair.

 

Select Troubleshoot.

 

Select Advanced Options

 

Try a System Restore.

 

You may have to reinstall Windows if you can't use System Restore. Try other Advanced Options. It sounds like your current W10 installation may be corrupted beyond repair.

 

I would remove the HDD or SSD before you do a clean OS installation because this will reformat the drive, you will lose data.

 

Connect the HDD to a different PC before you reinstall Windows, (connect the HDD internally via SATA or use a SATA to USB 3.0 adapter) to recover data.

 

Now try recovery or reinstallation options (after recovering data) using the W10 installation media.
