It makes sounds inside my Desktop, and I checked all the SATA cables are connected, but for whatever reason I can't get it to show up in Disk Management to initialise.

 

The drive was new and sealed.

Thanks, I rang the number and apparently, 2TB is the maximum size hard drive this computer can have installed.
