Hi @Theveeruraj,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If your HP laptop's BIOS has been corrupted, you can recover it using the BIOS recovery tool built into HP laptops. Here are the steps for recovering your BIOS on Windows 10.
Use the Built-in HP BIOS Recovery Tool
- Turn off the laptop: Disconnect any external devices and make sure the laptop is powered off.
- Press the power button and immediately press the Esc key repeatedly (about once every second) until the Startup Menu appears.
- Press the F2 key to open the System Diagnostics.
- Select Firmware Management or BIOS Management (depending on your system).
- Select BIOS Recovery and then follow the on-screen instructions. The laptop should attempt to recover the BIOS from a backup on the hard drive.
Create a BIOS Recovery USB Drive
If the above steps don't work, you can try using a USB recovery drive.
- Download the BIOS file: Visit HP's software and drivers page and search for your laptop model. Download the latest BIOS file for your device.
- Create a USB recovery drive: Use another computer to create the USB recovery drive.
- Format a USB drive (at least 16GB) to FAT32.
- Extract the BIOS files to the USB drive.
- Insert the USB drive into the HP laptop: Insert the USB into the laptop that needs BIOS recovery.
- Perform BIOS Recovery:
- Turn off the laptop.
- Press the Windows + B keys together, then press and hold the power button for 2-3 seconds.
- Release the power button, but keep holding the Windows + B keys until the BIOS recovery screen appears.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the recovery.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
