HP Compaq dc5800 Microtower
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I flashed my custom logo via flashi.exe in DOS mode, after it finished, I restarted my computer and the custom splash screen didn't pop up and the fan speed is high.

I tried to power cycle the desktop, Still black screen and high fan speed.

Pulled out the CMOS battery then save changes, still the same even I hit the f10 while on the mb thingy just switches the name in setup and after that save changes, rebooted, and black screen and high fan speed.

Pressing Win+B or Win+V doesn't work, still the same thing.

Any help is appreciated.

BIOS got corrupted.  It can happen.  Unusual for HP and most other OEMs is that your motherboard has a boot block protector

http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c01362760.pdf

Please read the instructions on page 3 under "Boot Block Emergency Recovery Mode"

Download the bios install  and extract the 7F2_0160.bin file and put in in a USB or burn to CD and try the boot  block recover procedure

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp73501-74000/sp73863.exe

note that the cd or usb needs the BIN file, not the .exe
