Subject: Request for BIOS Password Reset – Virtualization Required
Hello HP Support Team,
I am trying to run VirtualBox on my HP laptop, but it is not working because virtualization (VT-x) is disabled in the BIOS settings. Unfortunately, my BIOS is locked with a password that I do not know or remember.
Here are my laptop details:
- Product: HP Laptop
- Serial Number: 5CG7083HX5
- Issue: BIOS password locked – I need to enable virtualization
- Purpose: To run virtual machines using VirtualBox
After entering the wrong password multiple times, the screen shows a prompt asking for the BIOS password, but I do not see any "System Disabled" code yet.
I would like assistance in either generating a master password or getting instructions to reset/remove the BIOS password so I can access the BIOS settings and enable virtualization.
I am the owner of this device and can provide proof of ownership if required.
Please guide me on how to proceed.
Thank you in advance for your support.
Best regards,
Mazi
