Well I give up. Did the cloud restore and still F.40. Pulled out the CMOS battery and still F.40

 I think we are missing something here.

A factory restore puts the original software back on the hard drive of the PC.  That has nothing to do with the bios.

 

What exactly is the problem you are having?

My BIOS version says F.40, but I think it should be F.39. Maybe I don't understand. LOL.
