Microsoft Windows 11

Hello,

As of last week, I would start my laptop and it would bring me to the Bitlocker/keyboard layout screen and I never set up my recovery key.

tried wiping my laptop but it would not let me choose that option as it would pop up on my screen then disappear stating I obviously need to repair my system.

Please help.

thanks in advance.

Hi:

What is the full model number or product number of your notebook?

You will have to create a bootable Windows USB installation flash drive, boot from the USB flash drive and use the diskpart utility to clean the disk and then install Windows.

You can't install Windows on an encrypted drive unless you first clean the disk.

Hello,

thanks for the response.

I have a HP envy x360.

i can’t access anything as my laptop currently goes directly to the biolock screen.

Do you know what model processor it has?

The reason I ask is because notebooks with the Intel 11th generation and newer core processors need storage controller drivers installed during the Windows installation process.

Notebooks with older Intel processors and AMD processors do not.
