I have an HP All in One 27 CB1170 bundle (PC) desktop computer, and after a brief power outage/surge, the screen was black after restart/login. I looked on past forums and performed a hard reset, but I still have the same issue even after waiting an hour after the hard reset to restart it. I also attempted the suggestion with the driver (windows+shift + ctrl+B) to see if it was my display. The PC did beep as noted, but the screen remained black (waited at least 10 or 15 minutes after trying) thereafter. Since the screen remains black, I have no way to attempt any other suggestions I found online. What if anything can I do? My warranty has expired, so I don't think I have the option to call or contact HP support. Any pointers would be tremendously appreciated.

The HP AIO's sometimes need a reset preformed in this manner.
Unplug the power connection from the back of the computer. Unplug the power connection from the wall outlet. Press and hold the power button for the PC for 30 seconds. Plug the power cord back into the PC and then plug the power cord into the wall outlet. Press the power button to restart the PC.
I'm not an HP employee.
