Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

Hi everyone. I am repairing my sisters laptop that is not turning on. If you turn on the laptop "Preparing Automatic Repair" will appear then after several seconds it is just all black. I tried doing HP PC Hardware Diagnostics UEFI on the hard drive and it showed this failure ID M0873F-000B0Q-XD7WXF-60RE03 (this was during the Hard Drive Short DST Check). What does this code mean? No troubleshoot option appears after

I understand you need information regarding your HP Laptop. Not to worry I will help you to get a resolution to resolve the issue.

 

To answer your question: I ran the decoder and found it is a hardware issue. 

 

 

The PC needs to be sent to HP Service Centre to get it repaired,  I'm sending out a private message to assist you with the next course of action. 

 

Please check your Private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Community profile Next, to your profile Name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it or simply click on this link.
