When I start , it shows preparing automating repair  with windows logo. Then it shows again blue screen , after few seconds it again goes black. Again shows preparing automating repair , and these loop continues.

It seems like your HP laptop is stuck in a boot loop, and the automatic repair process is not resolving the issue. This could be caused by various reasons, such as a corrupted system file, a recent update problem, or even a hardware issue. Here are some steps you can try to troubleshoot and resolve the issue.

 

Restart in Safe Mode:

  • If possible, try to start your laptop in Safe Mode. This will load only essential drivers and might help you identify if a third-party application or driver is causing the problem.
  • Restart your laptop and repeatedly press the F8 key (or Shift + F8) during the boot process. This should bring up the Advanced Boot Options menu, where you can select Safe Mode.

Perform System Restore:

  • If you have previously created a system restore point, you can try restoring your system to an earlier point when it was working correctly.
  • To access System Restore, you may need to boot from a Windows installation or recovery disk.

Run Automatic Repair:

  • Boot from a Windows installation or recovery disk.
  • Select your language preferences and click "Next."
  • Click on "Repair your computer" and select "Troubleshoot" > "Advanced options" > "Startup Repair."

Check for Disk Errors:

  • Boot from a Windows installation or recovery disk.
  • Select your language preferences and click "Next."
  • Click on "Repair your computer" and select "Troubleshoot" > "Advanced options" > "Command Prompt."
  • In the Command Prompt, type chkdsk /f /r C: and press Enter. Replace C: with the letter of your system drive.

Disable Automatic Restart:

  • Boot from a Windows installation or recovery disk.
  • Select your language preferences and click "Next."
  • Click on "Repair your computer" and select "Troubleshoot" > "Advanced options" > "Startup Settings."
  • Press the number 4 or F4 to start in Safe Mode.

Perform a Windows Reset or Reinstall:

  • As a last resort, you may need to perform a Windows reset or reinstall. This will delete your installed programs but keep your personal files.
  • Boot from a Windows installation or recovery disk and choose the option to reset or reinstall Windows.
