I keep getting a blue screen stop code WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR on the first start up of the day or if I turn my pc off for more then 30 minutes. I have uninstalled all of the recent windows updates and I've also run a HP hard drive test. Can anyone help me please.

Bluescreen failures (i.e., BSODs) are notoriously difficult to diagnose and to fix -- far beyond what WE typically can do in this self-help Community.

You have a couple of different options to chose from ...

--------------------

The first is that of specialized forums where where folks have vast experience troubleshooting, diagnosing, and suggesting repairs for BSODs.

The community Win10 forums has a section devoted to diagnosing BSODs. So, your best bet would be to post your problem there: https://www.tenforums.com/bsod-crashes-debugging/

--------------------

The second is using free software to examine the logs that BSODs produce. This app is known as bluescreenview and is available from NirSoft, from here: https://www.nirsoft.net/utils/blue_screen_view.html

You will then have to go online to do searches with that information to get further suggestions about what to do.

Good Luck

The WHEA UNCORRECTABLE ERROR is a Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) error that occurs due to various reasons such as:

  • Faulty Hard drive, RAM, Graphics Card, or Processor.
  • Low CPU Voltage.
  • Overheating CPU due to Over-Clocking or Inefficient Cooling System.
  • Corrupt System File(s).
  • Damaged Device Drivers.

However, to fix the error you can try the below steps:

  1. Check Hard Drive SMART status.
  2. Use Windows Blue screen troubleshooter.
  3. Disconnect USB devices.
  4. Repair System Files.
  5. Update Device drivers.
  6. Disable overclock profile.
  7. Factory Reset BIOS Configuration.
  8. Update BIOS.
  9. Recover lost data.
  10. Check RAM for problems.

Further, you can also check the below link that will guide you to fix the error in detail:

Hope it helps!

Boot - You must set the initial settings. By entering the BIOS interface of your computer, you should check whether your hard disk is visible and if it does, you should mark it as 1st. If it is not visible, you should check the physical connections. If it does not appear again, the disc may be corrupted.
