Bluetooth used to be available on my touch screen PC but has now disappeared.   I have tried so so many 'help' solutions but none have worked.   I don't know how I managed to get rid of it but it is gone.   There is no bluetooth button within Device Manager.

I'd be very grateful for any advice as to how it can be restored.   The latest thing which I tried was to install "Broadcom Bluetooth driver" but it does nothing.

Hi:

According to the parts list for your model, it come with an Intel Wireless LAN - 3165 AC M.2 wifi adapter.

The only suggestion I can offer would be to install the latest W10 Bluetooth driver from the Intel site and see if that resolves the problem.

Hi Paul,

Thank you for your response.   I have downloaded from the link which you suggested but still have no Bluetooth.   I went to Program Files (x86), then Intel and then Bluetooth and that lists five items:

drivers (File folder)

utilities (File folder)

intel-software-license (a Rich Text document)

IntelBluetooth (an Icon)

license (a text document)

I am insufficiently tech savvy to know what to do with those folders so would appreciate your further advice if you have the time.

Many thanks,

Kev

You're very welcome, Kev.

Unfortunately, if that driver didn't get the bluetooth to work, I don't have any other ideas for you to try, other than backing up your files and reinstalling W10 to see if it was just a software issue.

If after reinstalling W10, the Bluetooth still doesn't work--an almost sure sign of hardware failure, then most likely you would need to either replace the internal Intel wifi/Bluetooth card, or purchase an external USB Bluetooth adapter.
