Can this link also be used with a desktop?

> Will the SOFTWARE [my emphasis] work on a destop computer because in the description it states for a Notebook?

You have an "All-In-One", which is a variant somewhere between a "one-piece" notebook computer, and the "component" build-up of a desktop computer (separate pieces for keyboard/mouse/display/screen/computer-case).

I started at the hyperlink: http://support.hp.com/us-en/product/HP-19-All-in-One-Desktop-PC-series/7477757/model/7531293/drivers...

I clicked "Software and Drivers".

I clicked "Go".

I saw:  HP All-in-One - 19-2304 (ENERGY STAR)

and Choose a different product

I chose "Windows 8.1".

I scrolled down to "Order Recovery Media-CD/DVD/USB" and clicked on it, to "expand" it.

Yes, it says "notebook".

What can I say?  It is what it is.
