Hi my all in one desk top computer has error message boot device not found, can anyone help please

Please provide a Specific HP product number and current Windows version for better assistance.

 

This error message generally means the system drive has, or is failing. I would connect this drive to a different PC as a data drive. Try to backup data contained in your specific Windows/User Folder.

 

You may have to replace this drive. Then install the HP factory OS image, or install Windows clean, or restore a custom OS image backup if you have this.

 

Verify operating system drive status as follows:

 

Start the PC. Tap "ESC".

 

Select "F2". Run system and component tests.

 

Your PC may qualify for the HP Cloud Recovery option to get back to the HP factory OS image.
