HP Z2 Tower G5 Workstation IDS Base Model
Microsoft Windows 10 IOT

Hi team,

I have a HP Z2 Tower G5 Workstation that I have completed building with WIN10 IOT operating system.

Once the WIN 10 IOT software was installed I was able to boot from USB without any issues recognizing the USB device and running the imaging software.

I have since completed installing all of the latest Windows updates which I believe included a BIOS update.

I am now unable to boot from USB and receive the following error in the BIOS page when I select the USB device from the list of drives:

"selected boot image did not authenticate. Please press enter to attempt boot from next device."

This Boot image works on other workstations that haven't been updated so confirming that the device is still healthy.

I have tried to change various BIOS settings which I didn't have to do previously, is anyone aware of the recent changes that may have come through from either a Windows update or BIOS upgrade?

BIOS version: S50 Ver. 01.04.07 11/28/2022

UEFI Boot Order: Set with USB as first in the list

Any suggestions on what settings I need to enable / disable to get this working again to boot from my USB device?

Thanks

Andrew
