The plastic pieces holding my screen in place broke and I am wondering approximately how much it would cost to replace the backing. Because the pieces broke, the screen is very wobbly which makes it difficult to use. Would it be more simple to buy a new computer, or is there a way to get this fixed?

Can you post a picture of the damage?
I found a hinge and pasted the picture below. Is the part broken where the hinge attached to the keyboard / base?
Is it broken inside the screen?
Generally one can use fiberglass cloth and epoxy to repair or strengthen both plastic and metal parts. If you screen is working I would just fix the hinge but I am guessing as to the damage. The below image was on ebay for sale as "parts only"
