Hello Community,

since last week,  had a issue with my HP Pavilion Desktop PC. Without any warnings, the computer showed me the CMOS 502 checksum error message. I search in the Internet and do the recommended things mainly the change of the CMOS battery. I buy a new one 2032 and replaced. Than i try again, but the problem remains, i go to the BIOS load the default settings and set the time, all was fine.  Than i put the power off until next day and start again, same error despite battery change.

I make a BIOS rollback installed the BIOS update, nothing helps. Have anyone a idea what i can try or where is the problem?  Dont know what to do.

Best regards

Many thanks Banhien for your reply. As i mentioned above in my comment, i trythe recommended things from the site especially the BIOS reset. The only thing i didnt try, was the BIOS reset via USB, but i cannot imagine where is the difference to the Keyboard tactic.  I try the BIOS rollback and Update, try the battery change no effect.
