CMOS invalid and also BIOS message on start up. Downloaded Windows 10 update recently. Seems to have latest F28 version. If left will restart but is it safe to le3ave it to do this each time?

@MelFun -- how old is your All-In-One? There is a small battery (size of a USA $0.25) coin, on the motherboard, that should be "trickling" power to the CMOS. When the battery expires, you get that message, because the BIOS-settings in the CMOS are "corrupt".
Get a technician to replace the battery.

@MelFun -- I did initially have a message about BIOS and checkedn to find I had version F.28. There didn't seem to be another newer version available to me.
About "BIOS" or about "CMOS" ?
The CMOS electronic "chip" is a separate component from the CMOS battery.
When you change any setting during BIOS SETUP, such as date/time, the new values are stored in the CMOS, but only as long as the CMOS battery is providing a "trickle" of power to the CMOS.
It should cost less than $4 to replace that CMOS battery, so that the BIOS settings are not "lost" when you power-off the computer.
