I have a HP Pavilion 500-298w with windows 8.1. I am trying to emulate an arcade machine boot up, so that it is blank before getting into Hyperspin.

Can I remove the HP logo / splash screen during boot up?

No option in the bios that I can see. Or can I replace it with a blank image?

Thanks

Hi,

Open up the RUN window and enter MSCONFIG.  Then go to the Boot tab and check NO GUI Boot and then apply..  See the below image.

The above will get rid of the Windows 8 spinning ball.  This tool or use of manual edits will eliminate the spinning ball and the logo.
